Why do i feel nervous everytime i need to present something in front of my classmates. why!!!!

Hmmmm... Yeap you get it if you think of it as ANXIETY. Well to be honest, it is normal to have anxieties because it is normal to face in your life. BUT the worrying part is when someone suffer from anxiety disorder, they will overthink of a lot of thingg eventhough its the little thing possible.

There are a few types of anxiety disorder which are;

Panic Disorder.
People with this condition have feelings of terror that strike suddenly and repeatedly with no warning. Other symptoms of a panic attack include sweating, chest pain, palpitations (unusually strong or irregular heartbeats), and a feeling of choking. It can feel like you’re having a heart attack or "going crazy."

Social anxiety disorder.
Also called social phobia, this involves overwhelming worry and self-consciousness about everyday social situations. The worry often centers on a fear of being judged by others, or behaving in a way that might cause embarrassment or lead to ridicule.

Specific phobias.
These are intense fears of a specific object or situation, such as heights or flying. The level of fear is usually inappropriate to the situation and may cause you to avoid common, everyday situations.

Generalized anxiety disorder.
This is excessive, unrealistic worry and tension, even if there's little or nothing to provoke the anxiety.

There are ways on preventing from having anxiety disorder, which you can stop taking products that have caffeine in it such as coffee, cola, chocolate and also tea. Next you can ask the pharmacist or even doctor to herbal remedies or medicine or if you think that your anxiety is getting out of hand, you can seek for counselling and support.

UGHH why is that person not doing the things how i want it to be. WHY IS THIS ROOM SO MESSY!! i CANNOT TAKE THIS.

So today, i will be talking about OCPD which is Obsessive- Compulsive Personality.

It is a disorder when you are orderliness, perfectionism, and mental and interpersonal control, at the expense of flexibility, openness, and efficiency.

You are prone to become upset or angry in situations in which they are not able to maintain control of their physical or interpersonal environment, although the anger is typically not expressed directly. For example, a person may be angry when service in a restaurant is poor, but instead of complaining to the management, the individual ruminates about how much to leave as a tip. On other occasions, anger may be expressed with righteous indignation over a seemingly minor matter.

Individuals with this disorder usually express affection in a highly controlled or stilted fashion and may be very uncomfortable in the presence of others who are emotionally expressive. Their everyday relationships have a formal and serious quality, and they may be stiff in situations in which others would smile and be happy (e.g., greeting a lover at the airport). They carefully hold themselves back until they are sure that whatever they say will be perfect. They may be preoccupied with logic and intellect.

Treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder

Treatment of obsessive-compulsive personality disorder typically involves long-term psychotherapy with a therapist that has experience in treating this kind of personality disorder. Medications may also be prescribed to help with specific troubling and debilitating symptoms.

Did i lock my car. maybe i didnt... maybe i did.. let me just double check it again and again.

YES YES YES Today's special disorder is about OCD. Well when you are suffering from this disorder you will have unreasonable thoughts or fear that leads you to do something repeated. You cannot see something that is very unpleased to be seen by your eyes.
For example....
YOU WASH YOUR HANDS EXCESSIVELY BECAUSE YOURE AFRAID THAT GERMS MIGHT GET TO YOU!
YOU CONSTANTLY CHECKING WHETHER YOU HAVE SWITCH OFF THE LIGHT OR YOU HAVENT DONE IT

It's also possible to have only obsessions or only compulsions and still have OCD. When you suffer from OCD you may tend to realise that your obsession is not reasonable and tries to stop or ignore it but but but it eventually will get worse and increase your distress and anxiety.

Well there is two types which is Obsession and Compulsion.. Well just something for you to gain your knowledge. CAUSE WHY NOT. hehe

OCD Obsession occurs when you repeat, urge something unwanted that can cause you to feel distress or anxiety.

The  Obsession signs and symtoms of OCD are :
  • Fear of being contaminated by shaking hands or by touching objects others have touched
  • Doubts that you've locked the door or turned off the stove
  • Intense stress when objects aren't orderly or facing a certain way
  • Images of hurting yourself or someone else
  • Thoughts about shouting obscenities or acting inappropriately
  • Avoidance of situations that can trigger obsessions, such as shaking hands
  • Distress about unpleasant sexual images repeating in your mind

And then we have

OCD Compulsion occurs when you have the tendency to perform something repetitively. These repetitive behaviors are meant to prevent anxiety that is related with your obsessions.BUT BUT can only give you a temporary relief.

The Compulsion signs and symptoms are:
  • Hand-washing until your skin becomes raw
  • Checking doors repeatedly to make sure they're locked
  • Checking the stove repeatedly to make sure it's off
  • Counting in certain patterns
  • Silently repeating a prayer, word or phrase
  • Arranging your canned goods to face the same way

So when you feel like you have all the symptoms and feels like your obsession are getting out of hand PLEASE  go and have a check with a mental health provider or a doctor.

So Bipolar Disorder is an extreme mood swings caused by depression to mania. (MANIA WHAT? I DONT UNDERSTAND... Mania is like an unbalanced attitude, you tend to go mad about something that makes you stress). This disorder is really dangerous because it can lead someone to suicidal tendencies.

The thing is, there is no cause of bipolar but it is said that it runs in the family. YOUR GENES!! Most importantly is how you control your level of stress. stress plays a really important role. so be careful. Bipolar disorder can be treated. It's a long-term condition that needs ongoing care. MEDIACATION is the main treatment, that mostly involved mood stabilizers and also antidepressants. Combinations of medicines are often used. Psychotherapy or "talk therapy," is often recommended, too.

Like i said, if you have bipolar it can be suicidal. So if you have this symptoms in you, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go and seek the DOCTOR immediately!. KAPISH?!

There you go:
  • Depression (changes in eating, sleeping, activities)
  • Isolating yourself
  • Talking about suicide, hopelessness, or helplessness
  • Acting recklessly
  • Taking more risks
  • Having more accidents
  • Abusing alcohol or other drugs
  • Focusing on morbid and negative themes
  • Talking about death and dying

Case Study of 9/11 and MH370

First, on September 11, 2001 or the incident known as 9/11 attack happened in that morning where everyone know that it was a terrorist attack which was said that it was by a group of Islamic terrorist known as the Al-Qaeda. It is said that 19 hijackers hacked 4 commercial plane during that time and targeted the symbolic U.S landmarks (The World Trade Center). This particular attack were said to be a suicide attack. It happen to kill almost 3,000 people including the hijackers. Two of the plane intentionally flown into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York. The balance of the two planes, one hit the Pentagon in Virginia and the other plane were said that it never reach the target that it wanted to go.

Secondly, Malaysia was sadden by the news of the missing airplane of MH370 on March 8th 2014. The flight was an international flight heading to Beijing, China. There was 239 passengers on board. The news of the missing airplane was spread like wild fire everywhere across the world(literally everywhere, you name it in the news, in very site of social media such as Facebook and Twitter). It really is a BIG QUESTION MARK on what really happened. The only thing we know is that the flight MH370 had changed direction and altitude after communications devices had been deliberately disabled.Malaysia got a lot of help from other countries in finding this missing airplane. Sadly, it has been 2 year since and the plane is still missing :( tho i still pray that one day we would really know what really happen.

Now let us talk about the two cases and how it impacted the journalism world and how the technology have change over these two cases.

In terms of journalism, Now, when you go to websites to read an article you will more than likely see a video clip within the article. It is much more appealing for the reader to see pictures and videos while reading a newsprint article.

It is obvious that the news spread faster during MH370 in comparison of the 9/11 terrorist attack because WHY? mhmm i would say that now people are more influence and more advance in using technology. Most of the world population, that have Facebook, they have Twitter, they have Instagram that all of these news can be seen immediately when it is being uploaded.

Hmmm what else what else.. aahaaaa! you know people nowadays, they all think that they are all "smart alec" people where they share all news on the social media without really knowing if the news is right or wrong. You dont hear any false rumours during the 9/11 attacks but you hear a lot of false rumours during the missing plane of MH370. Some people say that they found the debris of the plane somewhere but it is really not true. By uploading pictures or videos are good but people have to really make sure that the NEWS is RIGHT!.

People in this world today really need to know and understand the word Patience. why? because when things like these happens, i know people are eager to know the news but they have to wait for the official news to come out because it is not easy in finding and investigating when things like this happens. People must know what is right and what is wrong, what to believe and what not to believe. Wait for the official news to come out for accuracy so it can prevent any speculation to occur. WAIT WAIT AND WAIT! the people in charge is working really hard to find what really happen so dont make your own remarks first!

In conclusion, i would say that yes people nowadays are too adapt with technology where it influences our daily lives. People share all sorts of stories and for me if it is a case that is really important like the MH370 and 9/11 terrorist attacks, people should really wait for the official news and stop making any speculations.

I found an article that i find really interesting about the missing plane of MH370 : http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/malaysia/10700652/Malaysia-Airline-MH370-911-style-terror-allegations-resurface-in-case-of-lost-plane.html
